What do we expect from you?
- Retail Territory Managers are responsible for sales, market share and business support of Corteva Agriscience products to our retailer customers
- Retail Territory Managers are responsible for driving growth and profitability within the customer’s overall business.
- As part of the Corteva Agriscience Sales Team, promote Corteva’s new technologies and future crop protection and seed pipeline through selected retail business partners
- Establish sound business relationships by consistently delivering professional, quality service
- Responsible for achieving sales targets and effectively managing budgets and resources
- Responsible for working with selected retails to develop business plans that support the overall growth of the retail business
- Identify and understand problems and opportunities and use effective approaches for developing solutions to increase customer’s willingness to recommend Corteva products
- Develop and implement business plans with the retail accounts that drive growth and profitability
- Work with customers to identify market opportunities and implement tactics to create demand at retail outlets
- Assist in the development, communication and implementation of retail programs
- Participate in product demand planning and forecasting processes
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of products, logistics, ordering patterns and volumes to fulfill customer requirements
- Be alert to regulatory and environmental issues, and provide proper attention to product stewardship

Description du Rôle
- Établir et nourrir les relations d’affaires avec le réseau de détaillants du territoire.
- Promouvoir et positionner le portfolio de solutions de protection des cultures Corteva.
- Faire avancer la marque de semence Brevant dans le territoire.
- Rencontrer les objectifs des ventes du territoire.
- Travailler étroitement avec l’équipe en place, les détaillants et les influenceurs externes pour stimuler la volonté de recommander les solutions Corteva.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, in Agronomy, Business, or Marketing required. Will consider other degrees with related field sales experience.
- At least 5 years sales experience in crop protection, managing and coaching individuals.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional approach to building customer relationships
- Strong value selling, planning, strategy and negotiation skills required
- Can establish priorities to effectively manage responsibilities and workload
- Knowledge of crop protection and seed business is required
- Ability to analyze sales and market share data to identify market opportunities and identify potential solutions
- Understanding of basic business planning and financial skills
- Ability to work independently and cohesively in a team environment
- Self-starter, energetic, positive thinker/attitude
- Strong planning, communication and presentation skills
- Must be bilingual
- Computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Qualifications requises:
- Détenir un baccalauréat en sciences agronomique d’une Université reconnue.
- Membre de l’Ordre des Agronomes du Québec.
- Minimum de 5 années d’expérience dans l’industrie de intrants agricoles au Québec.
- Fortes habiletés relationnelles.
- Capacité à comprendre analytiquement les métriques du territoire.
- Habiletés en négociations et positionnement de valeur.
- À l’aise à œuvrer en équipe et indépendamment.
- Bilingue (Français et Anglais).
- Possède un permis de conduire en règle.
